The Eternal Border: The Egg and Dart Inspired Border

Every Theophora seal is ringed by the same border: an egg-and-dart inspired pattern — cupped ovals alternating with an upright point — drawn from one of the oldest decorative motifs in Greek architecture, where it ran along the capitals of columns and the cornices of temples.

The two shapes carry the idea. The rounded oval holds — life, the home, the hearth we keep. The point directs — intention, craft, the making of a thing on purpose. One without the other is unfinished.

It repeats around the seal with no beginning and no end: the same care, turning around every brand under Theophora. Different brands, one border, one standard.
