This space supports monarch butterflies while remaining safe for both caterpillars and household cats. Protective butterfly enclosures allow caterpillars to grow without disturbance, while the surrounding catio prevents excessive egg laying and offers a calm outdoor retreat for people and pets. Contacted our local city council seeking contact details for my boundary neighbours. This is to seek permission to commence work on the jointly-owned boundary fence.
